Anglo Platinum is pleased to announce that the National Union of Mine Workers (NUM) has accepted the company’s offer on wages and substantive conditions of employment for a one year period ending 30 June 2005. The offer ranges between 7.75% for higher grades, 8.0% for lower grades and 9.5% for the lowest grades. The agreement brings to an end the 13-day strike by members of the NUM. It is expected that all striking employees will be back at work as soon as possible.
