Anglo American Platinum Dividend Declaration

The Board is pleased to advise that at its meeting held on 20 July 2023, the directors approved the declaration of a gross final dividend of R3.2 billion (R12 per share (1 200 cents per share)) on the ordinary shares from profits accrued during the six-month period ended 30 June 2023. The dividend pay-out is equal to 40% of headline earnings in line with the Company’s dividend policy.

The dividend will be subject to a dividend withholding tax of 20% for all shareholders who are not exempt from, or do not qualify for a reduced rate of withholding tax. The net dividend payable to shareholders, subject to withholding tax at a rate of 20%, amounts to R9,60 per share (960 cents per share) (R12 gross dividend per share less R2,40 withholding tax per share).

The issued share capital at the declaration date is 265,292,206 ordinary shares and the Company’s tax number is 9575104717. The salient dates are as follows
