Anglo American Platinum’s bursary scheme applications open

Anglo American Platinum’s bursary scheme is now open for applications. The scheme, which is designed to give young professionals an entry into the company, will provide the bursars with an academic qualification as well as the on the job skills necessary to launch a successful career in the mining industry.

The bursary scheme offers three learnership options:

  • Tertiary studies at a university – this includes components of practical training prior to and during tertiary studies.
  • Studying at a University of Technology – including academic studies together with the experiential training component required for the National Diploma and/or B Tech degree.
  • Structured practical training – supplemented by in-house and/or industry training courses.

Bursary application forms can be downloaded from the careers section of the Anglo American Platinum website, www.angloamericanplatinum or requested by emailing [email protected]. Application forms must be accompanied by a certified identity document, grade 11 results stamped by the school or a certified grade 12 certificate. The closing date is 15 May 2018.
